Warranty and Procedures

SkyVue warrants that this product meets the manufacturer’s specifications and will be free from defect in material and craftsmanship; and should any defect occur, SkyVue TV will correct the defect, subject to the following conditions:

In the likely event the TV repair can be done in the customer’s location using “EZ Swap” DIY REPAIR, the following will apply while the television is under the manufacturer’s original factory warranty:

SkyVue will send, at no charge the replacement part, and a kit to include the following:
Step by step easy to follow instructions and a prepaid UPS label to return the defective part to SkyVue. The customer can either swap out the part that is defective, or find a handyman to do the work at their location. With the “EZ Swap” design you merely take off the EZ to remove cover and swap out the part that is defective with the replacement part SkyVue sends to you.

Residential Installations: All parts for replacement will be provided to the consumer for a period of one (1) year for NXG-/OBX- series from the original shipped date from our SkyVue factory. All parts for replacement will be provided to the consumer for a period of one (1) year for Fusion (FSN-) series from the original shipped date from our SkyVue factory. Customers can either SWAP out the part themselves, or find a handyman to do the work at their location.

Commercial Installations: All parts for replacement will be provided to the consumer for a period of one (1) year for NXG-/OBX- series from the original shipped date from our SkyVue factory. All parts for replacement will be provided to the consumer for a period of one (1) year for Fusion (FSN-) series from the original shipped date from our SkyVue factory.

In the unlikely event, the television can not be repaired at customers location using the ”EZ Swap” DIY REPAIR, the television will need to be sent to SkyVue’s manufacturing plant in Chester, SC. The following will apply while television is under manufacturer’s original factory warranty:

This warranty is for the original purchaser.

Skyvue’s NXG and OBX series recommended residential usage of no more than 16 hours in a 24 hour period.

Skyvue’s recommended residential usage for Fusion (FSN) series is an average of up to 8 hours in a 24 hour period.

Skyvue’s Commercial recommended usage for the  NXG and OBX series  is 24 hours a day.

Skyvue’s recommended commercial usage for  the  Fusion (FSN)- series is an average of up to 10 hours in a 24 hour period.

Recertified & Clearance Outdoor TV Warranty

90 day manufacturer’s warranty from ship date.

Accessories: Remote Controls and speaker bars are covered for a 90 day period from the original ship date.

 

 

**Manufacturer’s recommended installation is to have at least 7-9 degrees downward tilt. Failure to do so will cause irreversible damage and void the warranty.

 

Other Warranty/Disclaimers:

Simply call our factory (877) 475-9883 and speak to an authorized technical service representative who will be glad to assist you in the troubleshooting and expediting of parts, to correct the defect in the television. In the event that the part is no longer in production or has become obsolete SkyVue will repair the television with similar or like parts of equal value.

 

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

Shipping cost, both to and from the SkyVue factory, and damage caused during unpacking and/or removal of protective material.

Any SkyVue TV installed without our recommended 7-9 degree down tilt, in a 3rd party enclosure, cabinet, structure that incurs overheating damage will not be covered under SkyVue TV Manufacturer’s warranty.

Any fees or taxes associated with exporting or importing any products to the U.S or from the U.S.

Labor to uninstall and reinstall the SkyVue TV’s and accessories.

Any failure, loss, damage, or personal injury due to accident or neglect. Warranty does not cover any misuse or abuse by the consumer or improper operation, maintenance or storage or to alteration or failure to follow normal operating instructions as outlined in the owner’s manual.

Failure, loss, damage or personal injury due to installing the unit in the wrong orientation.

Orientation of the TV ‘s are specified on the order, failure to follow manufacturer’s specified orientation will void the warranty.

Damage which results from fire, flood, lightning, or other acts of God.

Accidental damage to the screen resulting in scratches or breakage.

Any SkyVue television not purchased direct from the SkyVue factory or authorized SkyVue representative proof of purchase can not be produced by consumer or SkyVue Television.

Any owner other than the original consumer.

Shipping Damage, other than the original delivery of television. This will be filed as a claim with the shipper and the obligation of the consumer to pursue.

Damage incurred from improperly removing packing/packaging from the television.

Service required as a result of improper, incorrect, or insufficient A/C power supply.

Incorporation into other products or structures.

Tampering or defacing the original serial number tag located on the rear facing side of the television.

Any unit modified or tampered with by any part other than SkyVue or it’s authorized accessories.

Any cosmetic damage to the surface of the television due to exposure to foreign or hazardous chemicals.

Indirect, consequential, or special damages, except required by federal or state laws.

Corrosion of the Television that Results from acid rain, salt, air pollutants, or sand.

Corrosion of the Television that Results from Improper Maintenance. Any breaches in the exterior finishes, such as scratches or chips can result in corrosion.

Damage to the Television caused by inappropriate cleaners or chemicals, including razor blades and brick wash.

Damage caused by extreme weather conditions, acts of nature (e.g. fire, hurricane, etc.)

SkyVue and its representatives or agents shall in no event be liable for any general, indirect or consequential damages arising out of or incurred by the usage or inability to operate this product. This disclaimer is a representation of all SkyVue agents and representatives and has been deemed legal. The laws of some states do not allow exclusion of implied warranties, therefore this warranty shall be deemed modified to be consistent with such laws. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights that may vary from state to state. All executions of this warranty must be performed by an authorized representative or agent of SkyVue TV facility located in Chester, SC.

It is very important to save the original box and packing material the television is originally sent in.

When you contact us at (877) 475-9883, we will troubleshoot and diagnose problem over the phone. If the television is deemed non-repairable onsite, television must be sent back to SkyVue factory in Chester, SC.  Any TV that is deemed beyond a reasonable repair cost, SKYVUE reserves the right to replace with a comparable model TV.

If the television is deemed in need of return, it must be returned in all of the the original packaging, or equivalent or box and packing materials.
